Switching the hooks of the ski lift against climbing irons, experiencing the deep quiet of the mountains, drawing one’s own tracks in the soft, fluffy powder snow.
Ski tours offer a large variety of experiences but good equipment, fitness, thorough planning of the tour, as well as recognising objective dangers are all part and parcel of it. It is recommended that each ski tour be planned and carried out with the accompaniment of a local mountain guide. The avalanche report should also be studied very carefully before each tour.
